Practical HR Terms of Business for HR Paperwork

These terms and conditions apply to the purchase of HR documentation and associated products and material available from the Practical HR Ltd website. These terms do not apply to consultancy or legal representation services. For a copy of the Practical HR general terms of business, please telephone 0845 180 1320 or you may request a copy of the terms by e-mail to solutions@practical-hr.co.uk.

Fees associated with standard HR documentation are detailed on the website next to each document/product.

All prices quoted are excluding VAT. VAT, at the current rate, will be added to all invoices, as shown in the shopping basket prior to confirmation of purchase. Practical HR reserves the right to change or amend prices of any documents on the website without notice. The purchaser may purchase documents at the price currently shown on the website.

The document(s) can be down loaded immediately an order is confirmed. In addition the purchaser will be sent an e-mail that will give a link to the document(s) so it can be accessed again in the future. However, Practical HR regularly changes links so the purchaser is advised to save the document on their own computer.

An invoice is forwarded within 7 days of the purchase, and payment terms are 7 days from the invoice date. Where invoices remain outstanding Practical HR reserves the right to charge interest at the current bank rate.

Due to the digital nature of the documents, no right of refund or cancellation exists after a document has been purchased, in accordance with Regulation 13 of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.

The purchaser should ensure that any information supplied is correct before confirming an order (or proceeding to payment where credit card payments are accepted). Practical HR does not accept responsibility or offer refunds if incorrect information is provided and Practical HR cannot accept responsibility for any errors made by the purchaser. The purchaser may use the documents as many times as they wish, subject to the terms and conditions. Documents may be amended from time to time depending on changes in the law or recommended practice. Updated and new documents will be notified on the website under additional information for each document. Practical HR will not notify purchasers of any amendments.

Restrictions

Purchasers may not sell, pass-on, copy or otherwise any documentation (including policies, procedures, letters, contracts of employment, employee handbooks, forms, questionnaires) to any third party, either directly or indirectly, without the express written permission of Practical HR. The purchaser may not forward links to documents to any third party.

Disclaimer

The documents available from the Practical HR web site are based on current statutory requirements or general HR ‘best-practice’. No document is to be taken as an authoritative statement of law, and documents, guidance notes and other material can provide only general advice.
